AN exhibition of artist Virginia Pope's work has raised £750 for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

The exhibition, 'Countryside Matters', took place at Outer Down just outside Chagford in May, with Virginia donating an original water-colour, entitled 'Auld Lang Syne' for a raffle. The winner of the painting was Fenella Ramsey from North Tawton.

Virginia expressed thanks to Robert and Sarah Curtis, Jayne Egan, Carolyn Pearl, Lizzie Vines, Sophie Price and Pauline Houben for all their help throughout the exhibition.
