OKEHAMPTON Art Group held a successful preview evening at the Church Hall in Market Street.

It was the first such preview event to be held for 18 years and on display were more than 100 works of art in a variation of styles.

The evening was officially opened by Richard Raymont (pictured), of Cinnabar Photography

A favourite painting competition, chosen by the public, was won by Adam Flack for his water colour 'Winter Umbillifies' and a raffle was held for a painting by artist Moira Askew.

The club was formed more than 20 years ago. It meets at the Conservative Club and new members to the art group are welcome.
