ARTISTS from West Dartmoor Art Group will be putting their pieces on show at Peter Tavy Village Hall from Saturday (July 13).
Every year the art group holds an open exhibition where they exhibit and sell members' work.
The exhibition has been very successful in raising funds for its two charities, Devon Air Ambulance and Dartmoor Rescue, and this year they hope to continue to support them with £250 each of contribution to their work.
An art group spokesperson said: 'By contributing at least £500 a year between them for more than 15 years, these charities have benefited from our efforts at around £8,000.
'We have many pensioners in our group and they are very enthusiastic about supporting these local life-saving charities.'
The members give their time and collect for the raffle that takes place during the exhibition and give a proportion of the takings from the sale of work.
'They also bake cakes which are sold in the tea room at the exhibition.
The exhibition is to show the work of the group from over the last year.
The pieces use a range of mediums, including water colours, oils, pastels, acrylics and pen and a range of subject matter as well, including landscapes, portraits, animals and children.
Entry is free to the exhibition, which runs from Saturday, July 13 to Sunday, July 21, from 10am to 5pm.
There will be a chance to vote for your favourite picture, for which the artist is awarded the honour of having their name added to an engraved cup for the year.
Visitors can also buy a raffle ticket to support the two charities, with a self-catering holiday in Cornwall on offer.
