FOUR Army Reserves from the 165 Port Maritime Regiment will be in Tavistock today collecting for the 2016 Poppy Appeal.

The four lads will be in town from 10.30am taking collections and selling poppies.

The Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion’s biggest fundraising campaign held every year in November, the period of Remembrance. The fundraising supports the work of the Royal British Legion and acts as a way remember the war dead and learn from the mistakes of the past.
