ARGYLE were on a high after last week's win and started this match looking strong. Ausden was unlucky not to score after a great ball from Dennis just missed the target.
Sharing the position of Argyle goalie Issac Musgrave made some brave saves.
Following a great stop by the Exmouth keeper, Dennis picked the ball up in midfield and passed to Burns, but he was closed down by the Exmouth defenders and couldn't get in the shot.
Argyle were playing some excellent football but could not get the ball in the net, although Donnelly did have one disallowed.
It was Dennis who scored Argyle's first after a great run. Ausden got in on the act when he intercepted the ball from the visitors and scored an excellent goal from outside the box.
Burns was instrumental in Argyle's third when he put a great ball in to Alden who finished off to score.
Exmouth scored against the run of play to make it 3-1.
Burns was involved again in the next Argyle goal after he battled well and put the ball through to Ausden, who finished cleanly.
With Fogerty back in goal he made some excellent saves but was unlucky when after a goalmouth scramble Exmouth scored their second.
