Tavistock U13 Girls 0 Activate U13 Girls 0 TAVISTOCK had four players away and were left with the minimum of seven but this didn?t prevent them having their best game of the season. Amy Bassett and Kirsty Heard in defence were on top form for Tavistock and let very little go past them to Fiona McCall who was solid in goal. The midfield led by Megan Case, assisted very ably by Annabel Longden and Olivia Hodge, controlled most of the play and indeed Olivia was unlucky not to score on three occasions. Shannon Ashworth covered a lot of ground up front for the home side. Activate are unbeaten this season but Tavistock were undaunted by this and took the game to them. The game was tight but apart from one or two moments, Activate never looked like scoring and Tavistock were considered unlucky not to have taken all 3 points. Player of the match Fiona McCall. Seaton Town U12s 1 Oke U12s 6 OKEHAMPTON made a slow start and found themselves a goal down after ten minutes. Their enthusiasm then really started to cause Seaton some problems. The second half saw Okehampton continue where they left off with Ethan Foster making some great driving runs down the left. Their strong midfield were able to set up a further two goals. They were unlucky not to have a couple more but for good saves from Seaton?s keeper.
