Tiverton Town U13s 2

Argyle U13s 1

Okehampton travelled to Tiverton for a hard game that was played on a very sticky pitch.

They were well prepared for this encounter and came up against some tough opposition.

Tiverton are always a strong side and Argyle needed to pull on their own strength to make it a close game.

In the first half Ross Voaden had a shot at goal which was on target but a Tiverton defender got his head to it, which put it in the back of net. This gave Argyle the confidence and shortly after Ross had another shot at goal but this time it went wide. Tiverton had a free kick which was tipped over the bar by Aaron Dearing.

Okehampton got the ball back and had a great run up the pitch with good play from Ollie Crimmins and another chance on goal that they just couldn't get on target.

Just before half time, Tiverton got a goal back and it was 1-1.

In the second half, Okehampton looked to be playing the better football but they seemed to lack the passion to go forward and get the goal they needed.

Tiverton took advantage of one lack of concentration from Okehampton and took the lead.

Okehampton had played well throughout the game and taken some knocks but the game was overshadowed in the last couple of minutes when Ross was tackled and had a bad injury which caused great concern to everyone.

The game was over and Okehampton came away feeling upset that they did not take the chances that they had to score the goals.
