ARGYLE started well with a great ball from Alden to Ausden who was unlucky not to score. This was followed by a good run from Dennis.

Boother had a good effort and Argyle had a chance from a brilliant Ausden corner that found Alden for the shot but the Westexe keeper saved.

Argyle were playing some good football and once again Alden was denied by the keeper when his shot was just tipped over the bar. Westexe caught Oke napping and with the keeper off his line the visitors made it 0-1.

Okehampton came out fighting in the second half and only a few minutes in had a goal disallowed. Argyle put together some great moves and soon scored after a great ball from Alden to Smith found Ausden who crossed it in to make it 1-1. Boother was next to score when his cross slammed into the top left hand corner of the Westexe goal.

Okehampton made it three when Dennis finished well after a great run.

Stoke Hill U12s 5

THIS proved to be a very entertaining game from start to finish with lots of goals and good play from two similarly matched sides.

Stoke Hill started the stronger side and quickly took a two goal lead. Argyle soon composed themselves and managed to pull one back when a good corner by Jamie Mallett was powerfully headed in by Ben Jarvis.

Some good football followed by both teams but Argyle conceded a penalty which was well placed by Stoke to take the scoring to 3-1 at half time.

The battle continued in the second half.

Another great cross by Jamie Mallet, who had a great game, was rewarded by a good header from Jack Davey finding the back of the net.

Stoke fought back and immediately secured a fourth from a long range shot.

Argyle were awarded a free kick in front of the area which was superbly taken by Ross Voaden and blasted into the top right corner.

Again the strong battling Stoke retaliated with a fifth goal.

Argyle found the net one final time when Voaden made a good left foot strike into the corner of the goal ending the score 5-4.

This was a fantastic game of football played in great spirit by both sides. Argyle players of the match Jamie Mallett and Ross Voaden.
