Barnstaple SAS U13s 1 Okehampton Argyle U13s 3 WITH some new players and others missing it took Okehampton a while to settle. Barnstaple took advantage early on when a good effort was turned away by Corey Burns in goal. Okehampton made the break with a lovely ball from Bradley Ausden to Luke Jefferies who scored an excellent goal. Harry Smith then made a good run only to be deemed offside. He soon answered back with a legitimate goal. SAS pulled one goal back but Tom Bullingham kept control and SAS where denied any other chance. With a few minutes to go Bradley made a lovely run to make it 1-3. Man of the match: Bradley Ausden. South Molton U13s 2 Okehampton Argyle U13s 9 SOUTH Molton appeared stronger and taller than last season and for a long time the sides were evenly matched. Okehampton played excellent football with brilliant runs and solid tackles, Corey Burns put a lovely through ball to Bradley Ausden who scored to make it 0-1. Molton put on the pressure and Haydn Bond in goal had to make some agile saves. But South Molton pulled one back to level the score. Harry Smith put a lovely ball through to Ausden to give him his second. South Molton came back and levelled. Okehampton started the second half strongly and were soon ahead again from a lovely chip from Brad. More goals followed with Matthew Doidge getting a great one from a difficult angle. Ausden scored his sixth, giving him his double hat trick, quickly followed by Oliver Squire?s first for the team. Ausden then scored his seventh and set up Thomas Boother for the ninth goal.
