Okeh'pton Argyle U14s 2 Exmouth U14s 3 IN this top of the table clash the Exmouth side all seemed a lot taller, stronger and older than the home side but Argyle began the match well. Exmouth defended well and Okehampton could not get on the score sheet despite some great efforts. The visitors were the first to score when they saw their chance and sneaked in with the goal. In reply Ben Williams for Oke and took a great free kick but just hit it over the top. Tom Boother then got his head to a ball and knocked it down to send it through to Brad who after a great run left-footed it into the back of the net. Oke were now back in the game. In the second half it was a more tired looking Okehampton and from a long ball via a free kick Exmouth scored their second. Haydn Bond in goal for Argyle pulled off some good saves but could not prevent Exmouth scoring their third. Just before the final whistle Okehampton were awarded a penalty which Ben hit home to make it 2-3 but time ran out for Argyle. This was a disappointing match for Okehampton who didn't really deserve to lose. Argyle players of the match: Luke Alden and Corey Burns.
