THERE are just over two weeks left for people to drop off unwanted shoes in Okehampton, as part of BBC Blue Peter's appeal to help orphans in Malawi. The Inspiration Centre on Northfield Road will be collecting shoes every Tuesday evening from 4pm to 5.30pm, until March 27. So far, more than 700 pairs have been donated in Okehampton, and Blue Peter has collected over one million nationwide. Donated shoes should be in good condition, and must be given with the permission of the owner.
