HATHERLEIGH Youth Club is on a desperate hunt for volunteers to help run the organisation.

The club is held every Friday night during term time, and currently has more than 75 members. In September those numbers will increase with a new group of Year 5s joining.

Two of the group's main helpers are due to leave Hatherleigh. For the youth club to survive, enough adult supervisors must be found to keep the club safe.

Anyone who feels they can spare the time to volunteer, be it weekly, once a fortnight or once a month can contact club chairman Chris Dorain on 01837 811767.
