A UNIQUE West Devon charity has launched a plea for committed people to help drive the organisation forward over the next two years. The drama company Get Changed, which works with adults with learning disabilities, is seeking new committee members and a secretary. Get Changed runs a weekly drama session for adults with learning disabilities, and helps people to speak up and speak out about issues that affect us all. For the last three years the company has been performing Freak Boy to schools to help young people examine their attitudes towards bullying. Behind the main weekly drama provision are a team of dedicated people who form the committee, and trustees who steer and guide the organisation. In order that Get Changed continues to move forward and maintain a robust and energetic presence, they are seeking, in a voluntary capacity, new trustees, committee members and a secretary. If you think that you would be interested in joining the organisation or would like to know more about Get Changed you can contact Christine Munkenbeck on 01837 52957 or visit http://www.getchanged.com">www.getchanged.com The group would welcome anyone who wanted to come along to the annual meeting on September 28, at 7pm at the Leaze Day Centre, Tors Road, Okehampton.
