POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Tavistock Meadows last Friday, August 11. A police spokesman said this was a particularly worrying incident, as it was alleged one of the offenders attacked the man with a bottle. He sustained minor injuries and was left in a state of shock. Two juveniles were arrested by police and are on bail pending further enquiries. Any witnesses are asked to contact PC Harmsworth on 08452 777444 quoting JT/06/1059.
