THE Okehampton Royal British Legion Social Club is holding its annual meeting at the club premises on Friday, November 23.

The social club fully supports the Royal British Legion in its charitable aims. Members raise funds for the Poppy Appeal and other RBL benevolent funds, and encourages comradeship and recreation for its members, who are not required to have any connection with the armed forces.

The meeting will start at 8pm, and all members are encouraged to attend.

Anyone wishing to join the social club can collect an application form from the club premises on Station Road.

The Okehampton branch of the RBL will hold its own annual meeting on Monday, November 19.

Taking place at the club premises, the meeting starts at 8pm and is open to all branch members. The branch is also open to new members. Enquire at the premises for more information.
