HONEY-BEA in Okehampton's Red Lion Yard has been voted as the winner of the town's best dressed shop window competition for the town's jubilee celebrations.

More than 40 of Okehampton's businesses got into the spirit of the Diamond Jubilee, decorating their windows with union flags and creating displays. The display at Honey-Bea narrowly beat the display in the Hospiscare shop in the Arcade to second place, Trudy's claimed third, Madisons were fourth and Donald's Menswear were fifth.

Town mayor Cllr Rev Mike Davies presented an inscribed commemorative salver to Helen Holman, who runs Honey-Bea.
