THE Dartmoor Preservation Association is inviting people to join them on an exploration of Whitchurch Common next month.

It will be an easy moorland walk of about four miles, taking about three hours, during which walkers will see Bronze Age archaeology, the Grimstone and Sortridge Leat, tin-working and stone working remains.

Walkers should meet at Pork Hill car park at 11am on Tuesday November 8.
