RAILWAY fanatics and those who enjoy dramatic Scottish Highland scenery should make tracks once again for the Ordulph Arms in Tavistock tonight (Thursday) for the second of two talks by railway photographer and historian Bernard Mills.

Mr Mills will be presenting the second volume of his slide show and talk on the railways in Scotland, on behalf of the Plym Valley Railway.

Entitled ?West Highland ? The Road to The Isles?, the talk will continue the journey started at his previous show, ?From Carlisle to the Western Isles? last month.

Mr Mills will take his audience on an imaginative journey by steam and diesel along some of the spectacular railway lines that criss-cross Scotland.

Bernard Mills has worked on the railways all his life and has been photographing the changing railway scene since his boyhood days.

He has travelled all over the world exploring some of the great train journeys in America, India and South East Asia.

Mr Mills lives locally and regularly gives up his time to support the Plym Valley Railway?s fund-raising efforts.

?West Highland ? The Road to The Isles? takes place at the Ordulph Arms, Tavistock, tonight, from 7.30pm.
