ON Saturday May 4 Okehampton Choral Society held their 30th anniversary concert at Fairplace Church — what a wonderful evening it was.
The joy and talent of soloists Katherine Bond, soprano, and John Parsons, violin, just had to be heard. The whole evening was under the directorship of our own talented John Holland.
How lucky we are to have the chance of hearing such a high standard of music here in Okehampton. It is another example of the outstanding talent we have within our local community.
Thank you, Okehampton Choral Society and Ockment Chamber Orchestra and all involved with the event, it really was an evening to be proud of.
