MAY I, through your letters page, offer my sincere thanks to all those who attended Stannary Brass Band's Christmas Charity Concert and contributed to a retiring collection in the sum of £1,006.97?

It was a wonderful turnout on the night and a joy to see so many people at St Eustachius Church.

The generosity of folks, even at this difficult time, never ceases to amaze. Both St Luke's Hospice and Muscular Dystrophy will benefit by just over £500 each.
