THE annual President's game between Stuart Munday's XI and Tavistock saw the President's team win by 37 runs.

On a wet wicket Tavistock decided to field with Cornish wicket keeper Horwell and Jake Luffman putting on 77 for the first wicket.

Steve Luffman then started taking things apart and with Robert Jarman they put on 80, Luffman eventually out in the 39 over for 89.

President's XI looked a good total on the day, best of the home bowlers Skipper and Gauler with 3 for 47.

Tavistock started with good performances by Tim Pope 30 and Dom Scaglioni 50, while old hand John McGahey hit a brisk 30.

The batting then folded near the end with both Mike Cherry and Ben Robins gaining four wickets. On the day a fairly easy win for Munday's President's XI with some good performances by three of Tavistock's senior colts.

Man of the match went to Steve Luffman.
