CHILDREN who attend the Vestry Group at St Eustachius' Church in Tavistock, have been busy making gifts to sell and designing games to play at the Christmas Church Bazaar.

The event is on Saturday, November 17 in the town hall. Tavistock mayor Cllr Anne Johnson will open the bazaar at 10.30am. Admission is 20p.

Other speciality stalls will include hand-crafted wood items, jewellery, handicrafts, collectables and Christmas table decorations.

Rita Lewis will demonstrate how to assemble table decorations at 11am and 2pm.

There will be many more stalls, a grand raffle and tombola and the vicar's whiskey draw at 15-minute intervals throughout the day.
