TAVISTOCK Children's Theatre Club (TC2) and Tavistock Youth Theatre (TYT) are once again entering a busy time of rehearsals and productions.

Following the success of Bugsy Malone earlier this year, TC2 is looking towards its next production 'Oliver' which will be taking place at the Wharf in the spring. Rehearsals will be starting soon and if any budding stars would like to be involved in this exciting and fun show, now is the time to get in touch as there are limited places available for those in school years three to nine.

Additionally there are places available in the youngest group, for those in reception to year two, who will be starting work on their own exciting production.

The most imminent piece of work to come from this talented group of young people is Tavistock Youth Theatre's comedy play 'Daisy Pulls it Off', a parody of wholesome adventure stories about life in a 1920s girls' English boarding school.

The play was originally produced in London in 1983 and launched several careers including that of Samantha Bond.

The company will be taking to the Wharf stage from Wednesday, November 21 to Friday, November 23 and tickets are available from the box office on 01822 611166.
