A NEW mums, dads and babies' group is starting on the Bere peninsula following a successful open day in the parish hall. The day included children's entertainment by Jo Jingles and Topsy Turvey soft play. There were many tables of different organisations and individuals displaying the courses and support they could offer the group. The first drop-in session will be in Hope Cottage, Bere Alston, on Friday, June 6 from 1pm to 3pm. A competition to come up with a name for the group has resulted in the name Chatterbox being chosen as the winner. Further information is available from Julie Overnell on 01822 840452.
