THE annual Albaston Fete is looking to be another fantastic mix of stalls, games, entertainment and the famous tea tent this weekend.

There will be a few surprises in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee this year alongside regulars like the country dancers and Taiko Drummers.

The A Factor talent show is back by popular demand — last year's winner Carys Goodright went on to audition for The Voice.

Beneficiaries this year include the Rubber Band, Calstock Parish Archive Trust and Harrowbarrow and Metherell Community Orchard.

The children of Delaware School were invited to enter a Diamond Jubilee art competition which was judged by local artist Colin Pethick. Winners will be announced at the fete where the art work will be on display.

The fete will take place on Saturday (June 16) at 2pm on the Millennium Green.
