ARE your children brave enough to travel on the steam driven ghost train, arriving at Dartmoor Railway this Hallowe?en? The ghost train is part of the Hallowe?en celebrations at Okehampton station this Sunday (October 29). Starting at midday, the children, who are being asked to turn up in fancy dress, can take part in various competitions. At 2.20pm, they board the ghost trains, whose other passengers may well include ghouls and goblins, as they steam up to Meldon Station. There will be a ghost hunt before gathering in the visitor centre to listen to story tellers ? five drama students from Okehampton College. On travelling back to Okehampton Station, the fancy dress competition will be judged by Cllr Christine Marsh, former mayor of Okehampton. Other activities will include face painting, pumpkin carving and a colouring competition.
