From April 2 a new bus service for The Manor and Courtlands areas of Tavistock will be introduced. The 89 will run every half-hour Monday to Saturday, providing a link to the town centre and bus station. It also extends to Morrisons every hour. Low-floor, easy-access buses will generally operate on the service, with facilities for wheelchair users and buggies. Local Tavistock drivers will drive all buses. This new service is being operated in partnership with Devon County Council. A timetable leaflet is being distributed to homes in the area, with further copies available from the Tourist Information Centre and library. For details of the new times call Traveline on 0871 200 2233 or visit http://www.firstgroup.com">www.firstgroup.com and click on Devon.
