East Cornwall Youth League Lifton U10s 5 Gorran U10s 0 LIFTON kicked off taking the ball to the Gorran goal on numerous occaisions but were unable to capitalise with a goal. Eventually a strong strike from Rory Forbes found the back of the net. Spurred on by the goal Lifton picked up the pace and a neat cross from Harry Eaton found Chris Alford but the ball just went wide. Eaton hoofed it into the top corner to take Lifton 2-nil up at half time. The second half was played in much the same way with Gorran rarely bothering the Lifton goalie. Once again Eaton struck at goal only for the ?keeper to push the ball to the toe of Alford who was able to tap it in. Eaton, making a now familiar run up the pitch, took it all the way to make his double and Alford completed his by finishing off a shot from Jack Williams. Man of the match: Jake Murrain.
