THE South West Lakes Trust is proud to announce that they are once again staging a performance by the Garden Opera Company at Roadford lake near Okehampton.
This year's performance will be the knockabout comedy 'The Barber of Seville' by Rossini, on Saturday July 8 at 7pm.
Simon Watson, the Trust's marketing and publicity assistant, said 'The Garden Opera is the highlight of the Trust's event schedule this year. I am confident that it is going to be a fabulous evening for all that attend. As the performance begins, the sun will set on Roadford, creating the perfect backdrop for an evening of 'al fresco' entertainment.'
There will be a 45-minute interval for picnics. If the weather is inclement the performance will take place in a fully seated big-top marquee.
Tickets are on sale now at the price of £18.50 from the Trust box office on (01837) 871570 by a cheque made payable to South West Lakes Limited. Tickets can also be purchased from Now and Then in Charter Place, Okehampton and Hicks and Son, Broad Street, Launceston.
