TAVISTOCK Air Cadets made their annual presentations at at Crelake Barracks recently. Parents, friends and guests were treated to a march past, continuity drill display and a leadership exercise before enjoying refreshments. There was an opportunity to see displays of all the cadet activities and achievements over the last 12 months. The squadron?s new Jarvo kayaks featured together with the flight simulator, a new HF radio that should be in operation shortly and various technical displays. The chairman of the squadron?s welfare committee and father of an ex-cadet, Captain Martin Pendle RN, inspected the cadets on parade and presented the awards. He paid tribute to the commitment of the staff and cadets and the range of activities available to young people at 2312 Squadron. Martin thanked staff, canteen helpers and parents for their support .
