PARALYMPIC athlete and triathlete Dave Hill paid a special visit to Mary Tavy and Brentor Primary School recently.

Along with Jo Smith from Sports for Schools, Dave led the whole school in a series of circuit exercises which were very challenging but good fun; headteacher Becky Pratten plus teachers Miss Mee and Mr Collacott also joined in with the children!

Afterwards, Dave gave a motivational presentation about his career and inspired the children when he talked about aiming high and doing the best to reach goals, even when there are setbacks or difficulties — a talk which the children were talking about for days afterwards.
