THE new site manager at the Broome Park housing developement in Okehampton is in the running for a Seal of Excellence Award. Derrick Maddox is one of five NHBC award-winning site managers in the region and one of only 400 in the whole country to have won an NHBC award this year from 18,000 entrants. He now goes through to the next round of the NHBC competition, the regional Seal of Excellence Awards, which are announced in October. At Broome Park, Derrick will oversee work on 180 two, three and four bedroom houses and apartments on former allotments and land.
