THE pupils in the Fledglings Foundation Unit at Lifton Primary School were very excited to discover that an amazing play-boat had sailed into their outside area.
The boat is hoped to spark the children's imaginations and is already proving to be very popular.
It was designed and made for the school by local carpenter Steve Sampson, who has created a fine vessel which will be seaworthy for many years.
The school has named the boat the Lifton Voyager.
