STORYBOX Theatre, renowned for their magical puppet shows, are bringing their performance of ?The Snow Queen? to Clearbrook Village Hall on Saturday, March 20 at 7.30pm.

Rod Burnett of Storybox creates wonderful evocative images with extraordinary puppets and use of lighting, unusual music and some very clever special effects. He brings Hans Christian Andersen?s tale to life in a quiet way which will draw you in to the story and make you gasp when the Snow Queen appears, huge and menacing, cold and regal.

In ?The Snow Queen? we meet young Gerda, whose world is warm and full of flowers, and her friend Kay who is not as sensible as he should be!

Kay has ventured into the palace of the Snow Queen and is horribly lost.

Be prepared to be spellbound as the magic unfolds. It is suitable for everyone over the age of five.

Rod is always happy to chat at the end of the evening and to show his set and puppets to anyone who is interested. There will be refreshments and a licensed bar.

Tickets: 01822 852400.

The performance has been organised with the help of Villages in Action. If anyone would like to arrange a similar event in their local village they should contact Roger Werner at Villages in Action, Lords Meadow Leisure Centre, Commercial Road, Crediton, Devon, EX17 1ER. Telephone 01363 773660.
