TWELVE residents from Yelverton Nursing and Residential Home enjoyed a two-course lunch and wine at the Rock Inn at a lunch trip arranged by Peter James and matron Tracey Thomas.

Residents also recently enjoyed a visit by hawks and owls. The birds were quiet and many of the residents enjoyed stroking them.

The next significant event on the social calendar is the annual wine and cheese evening in July.
