OVER 100 children and leaders enjoyed an action-packed and fun-filled week-long holiday club at Tavistock Methodist Church (TMC) during the school summer holidays.
Following the theme of ‘The miracles of Jesus’ from the Bible, the five-day-long holiday club included games, challenges, stories, team work, singing, craft, activities to suit all and lots of fun.
Each day the children learned a little more about God through the life and miracles of Jesus.
Themes of the week included seeing how God is a friend, leader, provider, healer, protector and saviour.
The S:CAPE Holiday Club for children in school years Reception to Year 6 is held during the school summer holidays each year.
Run by the family work team at TMC the holiday club is always the end of term finale after a term of many and varied clubs, activities, events and services.
Chris Harding, who helped to lead the week, said: ‘It was a really fantastic week. To learn about God and see how the life of Jesus is so relevant and life-changing for us today whether we’re adults or children is amazing. We’ve all had a brilliant time!’
