THE Animals Asia Foundation will be the beneficiary of the popular Acoustic Café which takes place in Tavistock this Saturday. The usual eclectic mix of contemporary folk, blues and jazz performed by a variety of talented local musicians will be on offer at the café, which will be held in the parish church centre in Plymouth Road. Home-cooked food will be available ? and diners are invited to bring their own wine or beer. The Animals Asia Foundation campaigns worldwide against the abuse of animals, including the inhumane practice of bear farming in China. Doors to the Acoustic Café open at 8pm ? admission is £4.
