THE A386 between Horrabridge and Yelverton was closed for almost two hours last Sunday evening following an accident.

Only one car was involved in the accident, which happened at approximately 9.25pm. Fire crews from Yelverton and Crownhill attended, along with police and ambulances, and hydraulic rescue equipment was used to release the female passenger.

The passenger was placed on a spine board and taken, along with the male driver, to Derriford Hospital. Neither were thought to have life-threatening injuries.
