WE wonder if your readers are aware that they have a ?Good Samaritan? living amongst them. We are referring to Derek Wilson, the owner of A30 Rescue and Recovery Services, whose kind actions helped to make a traumatic situation less stressful when his firm recovered our vehicle from the A30 last week following an accident.
Our vehicle was recovered quickly and efficiently by one of Derek?s helpful staff and we were escorted to his premises at Betty Cottles Inn.
We were most impressed by the time and consideration which was given to us personally by Derek. He spent a considerable amount of time and expense in trying to sort out a replacement vehicle through our insurance, something which should have been easily arranged by one phone call. However, because of various administrative errors this did not happen and Derek arranged for a taxi to take us to our destination at Newquay. All this was far over and above his responsibility.
It is refreshing to find such caring individuals still exist, and we wanted to express our appreciation through your paper.
