a TAVISTOCK man has appeared in court on charges of ABH and attempting to strangle two people.

Jon-Paul Holloway, 40, appeared before Plymouth magistrates on Monday, January 23, and was sent for trial at Plymouth Corwn Court on February 27 to answer three charges.

He is alleged to have caused ABH to a woman and attempted to strangle her last Friday, January 20. He is also accused of attempting to strangle a boy on the same occasion.

He was remanded in custody awaiting the trial.
