THERE will be a wide range of interesting gifts available at the National Trust's popular Christmas Craft Fair, being held at Buckland Abbey, near Yelverton this weekend.
The fair will be open on both days, between 10.30 am and 5 pm, taking place in the Abbey's small barn and ox yard.
Entry to the fair, restaurant and shop is free, and to complement this there will be a special half price admission price for visitors who wish to view the Abbey.
Food and drink stalls have become a permanent feature of the fair in recent years, and this Christmas, Devon Brewery 'Red Rock', Pyman Pâtés and Hogs Bottom Garden Delights are just a few of the names who will be present, alongside stalls featuring ceramics, jewellery, woodwork, glass, paintings, silks and mohair scarves.
Jonathan Cummins, visitor services manager, said: 'The fair is an ideal opportunity to shop for individual and unusual gifts for friends and family in a relaxed, festive atmosphere.'
Christmas opening times at the abbey are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from noon until 4pm.
