WELL I wonder ? where can you enjoy a unique craft fair and art and sculpture exhibition of the highest quality? At Chagford, in next month?s ?Wonderworks? arts and crafts event, that?s where!
Wonderworks was the inspiration of a group of talented and professional artists and craftspeople who have connections with Chagford on Dartmoor. Their first fair, held last year, met an enthusiastic response from exhibitors and visitors who commented.
This year?s Wonderworks aims to build on that success and takes place on Saturday and Sunday, November 6 and 7.
The craft fair in the Jubilee Hall, in Chagford has been expanded to include almost 25 exhibitors, most coming from the South West but some from further afield and many highly acclaimed in their field. Among pieces for sale will be jewellery, textiles, ceramics, metal work, woodwork and furniture, candles, baskets and bookbinding.
The Art and Sculpture exhibition at 1 Mill Street, Chagford, is open from 10am to 6pm on the Saturday and 10am to 4pm on the Sunday.
