A BRAVE West Devon pony was presented with a special award recently after battling with problems with its eye.

The MyVetMeds BraveHeart Awards are presented to pets that have shown courage in overcoming illness or trauma, and the national equine category winner was Wizard, owned by Katie Miles.

Wizard has a serious eye condition, but is still a kind and honest pony, who has carried Katie, and her friends, to success in competitions this year.

The award and prize were presented to Katie by vet David Harris (right)?on behalf of MyVetMeds and sponsors MSD Animal health at the joint Lamerton and Spooners Pony Clubs Christmas party organised by instructor Pat Thomas.
