THE Inner Wheel Club of Tavistock would like to thank all those who supported their Christmas Charity Bonanza in the pannier market recently, particularly the charities that took stalls, the tradespeople who supplied raffle prizes, the band — and all those who came along.
Between £450 and £500 was raised for Inner Wheel charities in addition to about £1,200 taken by the other stall holders, making a grand total of almost £1,700.
The Inner Wheel is a worldwide organisation open to close female relatives of Rotarians — wives, daughters, mothers, sisters etc.
The club in Tavistock is small but very friendly and welcomes new members. Any eligible ladies who may be interested are invited to contact me on 01822 617036 or our secretary, Audrey Campbell on 01822 612226.
