TAVISTOCK Camera Club will be opening its doors to new and existing members at the start of its new season of fortnightly meetings on Wednesday, September 4.

The club is open to anyone who is interested in photography — expertise is not necessary as there are many experienced members who will be happy to help those that would like guidance with their cameras.

Non-members will be welcome and are invited to attend to try the club out for free.

The new season starts with the 'Opening Shot' competition, where everyone is invited to bring along one print of their choice, with the winners being chosen by all the members on the night.

The first meeting is at 7.30pm at the United Reformed Church in Russell Street.
