A WEEK of entertainment went down a treat in Winkleigh with events for everyone from a swimming gala and dog show to Punch and Judy shows, fancy dress competitions and a talent show.
The fundraiser this year will benefit the St John Ambulance and Winkleigh senior citizens Christmas party plus the Queen's Golden Jubilee street party in 2002.
Some of the most popular events were the old Winkleigh slide show, the dog show which attracted entries from as far as Tavistock, Plymouth and Ilfracombe and the children's fancy dress competition in which the best overall prize was given to Miranda Gent for her entry the 'Eden Project'.
