NOEL Harrison makes another performance for Villages in Action next month, when he appears at Peter Tavy Village Hall on Friday April 4. Noel's repertoire ranges from sophisticated standards to simple country tunes, all chosen by Noel, and sung in a voice that has matured like fine wine. Many dates have sold out as word spreads that it really is Noel Harrison performing in small village venues. And Noel has indeed played them all. From touring with the Beach Boys and Sonny and Cher in the sixties to starring in musicals in London's West End. From singing in honky tonks in America and presenting on radio, to living the high life in Los Angeles, living in outback Nova Scotia to now living in rural Devon. His life has been full and varied and he shares much of this in his show, along with 'The Windmills of his Mind', the evocative Oscar- winning song for which he became a household name.
