A WEST Devon Morris dancing side is to feature in a new TV commercial being directed by Hollywood legend Tony Kaye, the man behind such films as American History X and Lake of Fire, plus adverts for Volvo, Tag Heuer and many more.

The advert is for the Black Farmer sausage range and during the shoot, Dartmoor Border Morris put on a stunning display of dancing on the Black Farmer’s farm with their new recruit, the Black Farmer himself, Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones.

Wilfred said: ‘I have always been passionate about Morris dancing but have never danced myself until now.

‘The Dartmoor Borders taught me some steps and before long we were creating some amazing moves!

‘The setting was a little unusual, but with a creative genius like Tony Kaye directing, all things are possible!

‘This is our first ever TV commercial for the Black Farmer brand and to have secured Tony Kaye to direct it is a real coup — Dartmoor Border have kicked off their TV career in style!’
