I AM very proud to announce that Anglers Paradise held their annual charity match at Anglers Shangrilla and a fantastic record breaking total of £1,651.20 was raised for local charities to be distributed, £1,000 for Winsford Hospital, £551.20 air ambulance, £100 for the village playing field.
We would like to thank the following for their generosity in contributing the prizes: Browning, Drennan, Exeter Angling Centre, Penn, Preston Innovations, Western Sea Baits, H B H Woolacotts, the mischievous Billy Knott who not only organised the match but auctioned off most of the raffle prizes and of course Anglers Paradise for donating all the match fees, wine and barbecue money.
Not only do anglers care for the environment but dig keep into their own pockets to raise money for local charities.
