THE MOORVIEW Supported Living Unit at Okehampton held a splendid party for the Diamond Jubilee on June 5.

The party began with drinks, face painting and dressing up. This was followed by a banquet style lunch with a very patriotic theme.

The afternoon was rounded off with a live singer who performed old Vera Lynn classics accompanied by much laughter and dancing.

Jo Evans, assistant manager at Moorview, said a great time was had by all at the party, and she paid tribute to all who helped support the day.

'All of this would not have been possible without the organization and hard work of one carer in particular, Christine George from Northlew,' said Jo.
